Great news from the guys on the ground near Ostersund, our driving lake froze for the winter at the weekend and now has enough ice to support a person on a small quad bike or similar. Now that it’s frozen for the winter, the ice will start to build and will eventually reach a thickness of more than 50cm. You can read about how we check the ice thickness in this earlier post here.
