Ice Driver Three

Something to really get you working and thinking hard. Ice Driver Three takes 2 full days to complete. Drive both our classic air-cooled Porsche 911s and the four wheel drive Subaru Impreza Turbo
Where else can you go to drive rear engined, rear wheel drive and turbocharged four wheel drive? All on a frozen lake….. we aim to send you away an extremely competent Ice Driver with a bucket full of new skills that you’ll be able to apply regardless of your driving discipline.

Ice Driver Three approximate schedule:

07.30 Smorgasbord breakfast in the dining room
08.15 Meet in hotel reception area to be taken for the Ice Driver briefing
08.45 Transfer to the driving lake by minibus
09.00 Exploratory laps of the ice in the Ice Driver cars, discovering the amazing levels of grip from the studded tyres and learning the techniques for driving on the frozen lake. Gain speed and confidence as your instructor coaches you on the techniques of ice driving.

12.00 Lunch at the hotel, or served at the lake depending on your preference
13.00 Back onto the ice for more Ice Driving and the chance to practice high speed driving skills
16.00 Sunset and back to the hotel

Day Two.

07.30 Breakfast in the hotel.
08.15 Meet in reception area. Time for a quick chat before departing for the driving lake
09.00 Exploratory laps of the ice, a quick resume of the things you learned yesterday, then more ice driving sessions, perfecting your favourite ice driving techniques.
12.30 Return to the hotel for lunch
13.30 Return to the driving lake. In this final session, you will be expected to display your new found skills and competence to your instructor team withe the bare minimum if input from them. They expect you to be able to make decisions and display the car control skills you’ve learned.
15.30 High speed passenger ride with your instructor
16.00 Return to the hotel to collect luggage before departing for home.

Ice Driver Three includes the following:

Transfers to and from either Ostersund airport or Bracke rail station

Only three people per car – share with just two others
