BMW M3 Power
Our BMW is probably the biggest handfull of all. Built in Ireland by a World Rally Championship team, the standard Compact bodyshell was stripped and seam welded. Then a full integral roll cage was welded in for stiffness and safety. Recaro competition seats and five point Sabelt harnesses were added together with driver to co-driver intercom.
The engine is a 320Bhp M3 Evo unit. Completely standard, but fitted to the stripped out bodyshell and running a very short final drive makes acceleration electric and guarantees wheelspin in every gear, in fact that’s the whole point of it… Want to drive it? It’s not for everyone. Even World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx broke into a sweat when driving it.
